The Army defends the entire land area of the state and executes all three of the Defence Forces’ tasks.
Finnish Defence Forces will exercises local defence with other agencies and operators during 1.–8.9. The exercises will be arranged across the country.
Call-ups will be held in 244 localities during 15.8. –15.12.2023. The call-up events will be attended by altogether 36,900 persons liable for call-ups.
The Finnish Army is responsible for soldier capability development in the Finnish Defence Forces through the Dismounted Soldier System Programme.
