The British Army’s helicopter detachment will participate in the flight activity of the Utti Jaeger Regiment’s Helicopter Battalion in an exercise to be held during 29 April – 1 June 2024.

Army training and exercise activity will be conducted across Finland between the end of April and the beginning of June. The Army will be training in extensive force entities and developing the capacity for bilateral and multilateral joint operations with the Allies.

The Armoured Brigade will lead the Army mechanized exercise Arrow 24 at the Pohjankangas Firing Range and Training Area in Niinisalo from 26 April to 14 May. Approximately 2600 persons will take part in the exercise, most of them conscripts and about 300 international troops.

The Army combined fires are an entity formed by combined-arms interoperable operating to which also joint fires of the Air Force, of the Navy, and of the Allies are integrated. The capabilities of combined fires have been developed in the long term for years now.
