The Army’s main regional exercise Lively Sentry 25 will focus on repelling attacks
Lively Sentry 25, led by the Guard Jaeger Regiment, will be organised from 27 November to 4 December 2025. The exercise will be conducted in the areas of East Uusimaa, Kymenlaakso and Päijät-Häme.
We defend Finland together – national parade on the Independence Day of Finland in Kouvola this year
The Finnish Defence Forces will celebrate the 108th Independence Day of Finland by way of a national parade on 6 December in Kouvola. The theme of the parade is We defend Finland together. The review of troops will take place at Kouvola Finnish baseball stadium, and the pass in review on Salpausselänkatu. The Finnish Defence Forces’ and other agencies’ equipment and activity will be available for familiarisation at Sumulaakso. The events are free of charge.
ADEX Mallet Strike 2/25 will enhance Finland’s and NATO’s air defence capabilities
The international air defence exercise ADEX Mallet Strike 2/25 will be organized in the Lohtaja Firing Range and Training Area from 11 to 20 November 2025.
