15.7.2026 | Recruits who started their service in the Lapland Jaeger Battalion and the Rovaniemi Air Defence Battalion swear the military oath or give the military affirmation in Keminmaa on Saturday, 8 August. The ceremony is held on the Keminmaa School Campus and sports field.

21.6.2023 | The Guard Jaeger Regiment will organize the 60th Open Nordic Military Pentathlon Championship in Helsinki 26-30 June 2023.

14.3.2017 | Defence Forces Sports School winter sports athletes III / 17 has been selected. Athletes begin their service on 10 April 2017 in the Guard Jaeger Regiment and Kainuu Brigade.

17.5.2022 | Hedgehog 22 held in Estonia will be participated by the Army with up to circa 240 personnel led by the Pori Brigade. The training audience detachment to the exercise in Southern Estonia will comprise mainly reservists trained for the Finnish Rapid Deployment Force (FRDF) who have already began their preparation phase in Säkylä.

6.7.2018 | On Monday 9 July military barracks will be teeming again as the new recruits arrive. Approximately 9,500 young people start their military service in eight different Army brigade-level units.
