Firings notice

Finnish Defence Forces will detonate decommissioned explosives in Hukkakero in Kittilä 10-26 Aug 2020 daily between 08:00 and 22:00 hrs.

The Danger Area is Selkä-Mäntypää - Paartoselkä - Leppäkumpu in West, Leppäkumpu - Katajaselkä (excl. road) - Iso-Vitikko in North, Kittilä - Sodankylä - municipal border in East and Tarpomapää - Selkä-Mäntypää in South. The height of the dangerous area extends to 4,200 meters. Unauthorised entry into and movement in the dangerous area is forbidden.

The detonations are carried out by Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command.
