Command and control systems
Use: A mobile, tactical radio integrated into the soldier’s gear. The radio enables
leading the troops with voice, and the dissemination of situational picture.
Characteristics:
- This radio is a software defined radio (SDR). The performance of this radio is
defined by its waveforms or software - The software can be developed all through the radio’s lifecycle thus enhancing
its performance - Several waveforms can be used
Technical Data:
- Frequency range: 30 - 2500 MHz
- Power output: 5 W
- Bandwidth: 25 kHz - 10 MHz
- Operational temperature: -20°C - +55°C with the radio's battery, -40°C - +55°C
with a separate battery in the soldier’s gear. - Battery: 70 Wh li-ion
- Weight (with battery): 950 g
- Protection class: IP67 also with the enclosures open
- Country of manufacture: Finland
Use: A 2-channel radio to be placed in a vehicle, weapon platform, signal station or
command post. The radio can use any software and services supported by the personal
role radio and use the same radio networks. Due to its wide frequency range, the radio
can also access the M18 system wireless backbone.
Characteristics:
- This radio is a software defined radio (SDR). The performance of
this radio is defined by its waveforms or software - The software can be developed all through the radio’s lifecycle thus enhancing its
performance - The radio supports several waveforms
- The radio has two channels: It features two independent and autonomous
transmitter /receiver units
Technical Data:
- Frequency range: Output ANT1: 225 MHz - 2500 MHz ANT2: 30 MHz - 512 MHz
Reception ANT1 and ANT2 30 MHz - 2500 MHz both channels - Power output: ANT1: 40 W and ANT2: 50 W
- Band width: ANT1: 25 kHz - 10 MHz and ANT2: 25 kHz - 5 MHz
- Operating voltage: 12 V - 32 V DC
- Operational temperature: -40°C - +55°C
- Weight: <15kg
- Protection class: IP67 also with the enclosures open
- Country of manufacture: Finland
Characteristics:
- MATI2 TSTJJ terminal (Army C2 system 2)
- Soldier router
- Power bank, 2 pcs
- Cables
Use: The MATI2 combat command system is used for commanding company
battle and transmitting situational picture at platoon, section and team level.
The terminal is used with the soldier’s router which connects the device into the
tactical data transfer network. If necessary, the connection can also be made
via the mobile network.
