PSO Training Center

Pori brigade Peace Support Operations Training Center (PSO TRG Center) is responsible for pre-deployment training of Finnish Army troops for international operations.

PSO TRG Center prepares appx. 1000 soldiers per year for varying operational environments and conditions.

Pre-deployment training is always planned and conducted according to requirements of ongoing operations and conditions. Training contents are updated regularly and the latest knowledge of ongoing operations is constantly brought to trainees attention by the responsible instructors.

The facilities and training ranges of Säkylä Garrison area allow soldiers to train almost in theatre -like conditions and thus have a thorough preparation for their future deployment.
