The Utti Jaeger Regiment’s international exercise activity in 2024 is to start with a joint exercise conducted with the U.S. Armed Forces. The bilateral exercise will be held in Finland during 15 – 26 January 2024.
The objective of the exercise arranged in the region of Kymenlaakso is to strengthen the units’ interoperable joint operating capacity and to develop the ability for operating in winter conditions. Part of the exercise drills will involve flight activity of the Utti Jaeger Regiment’s helicopter fleet.
The exercise will be participated at its different phases by altogether up to less than 100 soldiers of the service personnel.
The exercise is part of the decided Finnish Defence Forces’ international training co-operation for 2024.
