The yearly Command and Control Interoperability Board (CCIB) meeting between Finland and the United States was held in the Armoured Brigade from 12th to the 16th of September 2022. The Armoured Brigade hosted the board meeting in its facilities.
Brigadier General Jarmo Vähätiitto, Chief of the C5 (Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Cyber) Division of Finnish Defence Forces, and Brigadier General Chad Raduege, the Director of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers (C4) and Cyberspace Operations for U.S. European Command, participated in the board meeting on Thursday the 15th of September.
"The Command and Control Interoperability Board is a yearly cooperation forum for the Command and Control Branches between Finland and the U.S., in which representatives from both the defence governance and the civil authorities are involved. The aim of the meeting is to maintain and develop the compatibility of Finnish and U.S. Command and Control systems. This year there were about 60 participants. The board meeting was chosen to be held at the Armoured Brigade due to its convenient location and its meeting facilities. The Armoured Brigade was an excellent host", said Brigadier General Vähätiitto.
