Guard Jaeger Regiment

The Guard Jaeger Regiment trains troops specialised in urban warfare to defend Helsinki and Uusimaa region.

Readiness and overall security are maintained and developed in cooperation with other authorities. Training and firing exercises in Santahamina and training in Uusimaa region are a necessary part of the wartime troops performance development.

The Guard Jaeger Regiment`s units are Guard Battalion, Uusimaa Jaeger Battalion, Sports School and Guards Band and Uusimaa Regional Office.
