Armoured Brigade - traditions, cooperation and striking power!  

The Armoured Brigade is specialised in mechanised, motored motorised battle groups, in ground-based air defence and in electronic warfare. The brigade is located in Tavastia Proper. The Armoured BrigadeIt also trains the musicians in the renowned Defence Forces’ Conscript Band.

The Armoured Brigade is a modern unit that operates in Parolannummi and Riihimäki. It trains the Finnish Army's 'most striking' battle groups. The brigade also trains the majority of the Helsinki region's ground-based air defence troops and special operations forces in electronic warfare. The Armoured Brigade has a versatile armoured fleet and large extensive exercise areas. The brigade uses virtual combat training and has considerable expertise in using simulators in training.
